Read on for the most amusing video I've seen all year...

Here's the plan. In order to distract you from the fact that there have been no updates to this site in ages, I thought I'd stick this video in the page to keep you busy. It's a highly efficient folding technique which went round the net a year or so ago, but it's been given a new lease of life by Google Video.

Google's service allows me to easily embed the video into my own pages, thus allowing me to distract you from this site's overall lack of content. If it doesn't work, it means you'll have to install Flash to see it, and my cover will have been completely blown. Read on for more cajoling and pathetic excuses...

I rather like this image, taken from Google News. Their news pages are generated automagically, which is bound to cause mismatches between images and text sometimes... I guess I'm just not difficult to amuse.

I've failed to update my weblog for a while as I've been working and grumping a bit. Work is going better now, and I've settled back down into it after my lovely holiday. Sadly, Kim (who went to Taupo with Stewart & me) has just left to return to California (but via Australia so that's alright). We were also working together on some fluid simulation stuff (see image for an example), which seems to have worked out rather well and will hopefully become a continuing collaboration.

And, in case you were worried that this was beginning to sound more like work than procrastination, all I can say is Don't Panic.

Well, I've moved the Drupal website into place as the actual anjackson.net website. Not nearly got all the content in place yet, but it's getting there, slowly. Of particular interest may be the image galleries, held at http://anjackson.net/image/ - eventually this will hold all my decent photos from my travels.

I mean, this really is rather fine...

No tax on custard.
